The Lagoon of Venice is a dream made of lights and shaded reflections . Every and each moment of sunlight mirrors in its plane and becalmed stretches of water whose colors go from the deepest emerald green to the most intense golden yellow given by the ablaze light at sunset.

Interpreting the Lagoon of Venice is always a challenge to me. Such challenge paints my soul with veiled nuances that recall to my mind the city known for its domes and floors adorned with ancient golden Byzantine mosaics ; a city where its timeless silences enfold my body with fascination the city of Venice soaked into lights and reflections.

Trust me: portraying this place holds such an inner peace that no other painting subject gives to me. All the more reason to live such a beautiful feeling.
